My name is Sarah and I am a 500 hour YMCA certificated Hatha yoga teacher and a 100 hour yin yoga teacher. I have an absolute passion for yoga and passing my teachings on. I host yoga classes in Southend On Sea. We have lots of fun and all of our regulars are friendly and great to chat to. You are more than welcome to come down to any of our classes and see what we do. If you have always wondered about yoga then I certainly suggest you give it a go. What have you got to lose? 

Yin yoga is a slower paced style of yoga which is used as exercise. It incorporates traditional principles of Chinese medicine with different postures that are held for a long period of time. The more experience you have with this, the longer you will be able to hold your postures. Hatha yoga is an older system that includes the practise of yoga postures and breathing exercises. It helps to bring peace to the body and mind, preparing the body for a deeper spiritual practice such as meditation. We also practise Qigong here which is a powerful form of meditation, slow movements and breathing.

Yoga can be practised all year round by the sea and near the beach in our amazing venue. The surroundings are beautiful both visually and vocally, taking in all the natural scenery and beauty of the Thames Estuary achieving peace is such a simple task, total relaxation.
 
We host evenings in collaboration with local therapists which includes sound healing journey’s, incorporating yoga (Hatha & Yin), crystal bowls, gongs, mantra meditation and kirtan. 
 
I also have a special interest in Doterra essential oils whereby I host free workshops at our stunning venue. I hold certificates in Reiki 1 & 2 and I am also a Rahanni practitioner and teacher.

Everyone is welcome at our classes and all of our members are very friendly so you will have no trouble fitting in. If yoga is something that is completely new to you then you will probably be more suited to our beginners yoga classes. You can learn the basic here and get the assistance you need.

Timetable:

Monday – Wednesday is just £7 drop in or £24 for 4 consecutive weeks.

Thursday – Yin And Yang both sessions drop in £15 : 4 consecutive weeks for £50. Single session of Yin Yoga or Qi Gong £9 : 4 consecutive weeks for £30.

Monday 6:45pm – 8pm – Hatha Yoga
Tuesday 6:30pm – 7:45pm – Hatha Yoga
Wednesday 9:30am – 10:45am – Hatha Yoga
Thursday 9:30am – 10:30am – Yin Yoga   |    10:45am – 11:45am – Qugong
