Situated in Brightlingsea on the Essex coast, we are dedicated to conserving and growing the native lobster population. Not only do we work hard to increase the lobster population but you are also free to visit. We take great pride in educating everyone about these amazing animals. The lobster population has been steadily decreasing in past years. The goal of our lobster hatchery is to return them back to their once-thriving population. Lobster’s play a key role in the local estuary’s ecosystem. They can also provide a local and sustainable food source.
