Not only do we work hard to increase the lobster population but you are also free to visit. We take great pride in educating everyone about these amazing animals. The lobster population has been steadily decreasing in past years. The goal of our lobster hatchery is to return them back to their once-thriving population. Lobster’s play a key role in the local estuary’s ecosystem. They can also provide a local and sustainable food source.

Coffee Shop And Soft Play Area Essex

There’s so much more to do at our lobster hatchery in Essex. Find a wonderful little soft play and activity area that the kids enjoy. This soft play area is also available to hire for birthdays. Our coffee shop is the perfect place to take a rest and enjoy some hot drinks. Furthermore, once a month we open a seafood buffet. This buffet seats up to 40/50 people and can be booked by getting in touch with us. It’s all you can eat and supplies a range of sea food including; Brightlingsea oysters, dressed crabs, cockles, mussels, smoked mackerel and an array of other sea food from the surrounding areas.
