Tea At The Tower

Located in the county of Essex, we are a dog friendly cafe serving up all your favourite hot drinks as well as some light bites and treats. Our tea rooms are set inside the Martello Tower F which is a historical building in the area and interesting to see. The moat around the tower is the perfect place to relax with some refreshments in the sun. If you’ve got your furry friend with you then they can enjoy a puppicino themselves. Join us for afternoon tea Clacton or pop in for a bit of cake and a chat. Large parties are always welcome but give us a heads up that you are coming to avoid a longer wait on the day.

With the beach being just across the road and Clacton town just a stone’s throw away, we are perfectly situated for a great day out. Not to mention, Clacton Pier is also just a minute away. Whether you’re here to enjoy a cream tea by yourself in the sun or you’ve got an afternoon tea date with someone special, we’ve got you covered.

All dogs must be kept on a lead while visiting. We have a lovely outdoor area that they can enjoy but they must be kept on a lead. The building itself is very interesting and is absolutely steeped in history. The original purpose was to protect us from the invasion from Napoleon so it has been standing for well over 200 years now.
