Plenty of Thyme, event caterers Essex, was founded by Dave Double in late 2016 out of a passion for food and service. Having worked in restaurants, hotels, and large-scale catering venues since 2000 it was time to set up on his own.

In a short time, Plenty of Thyme has grown tenfold and quickly made a name for ourselves, recently winning Best Independent Caterer at the Essex Wedding awards 2020. They have large catering premises near Billericay which has been awarded 5* Hygiene rating from Chelmsford City Council. They also have £5,000,000 Public liability insurance, and all their chefs and waiting staff have a minimum of level 2 food hygiene training.
