The day when the FM radio signal will be switched off forever is drawing closer and closer! Sources suggest that the switch over process from FM to digital will start in 2017 and be concluded by 2020. This means that by 2021 everyone who listens to the radio will have to be tuning in online. But this definitely isn’t a bad thing, as we have proved here at Clacton Radio having everything switched over to be digital means that you will have a much more reliable source of entertainment. You will be able to listen whenever and wherever you like and you won’t have to keep moving your old DAB radio about trying to find a good signal. We have different shows on with different hosts throughout the whole day so no matter what time it is, we’ll keep you entertained. It’s inevitable that it’s going to happen because it has already happened with all other aspects of media and we think it’s a good thing.
